Boujaad rugs

Named after the city of Boujaad in central Morocco, these rugs are knotted by hand by women weavers, working from memory rather than from a drawn pattern. Warm, faded tones, free geometry, an asymmetry that is never accidental. Each Boujaad is one of a kind.
