Kilim rugs are traditional flatwoven rugs handwoven in Morocco using ancestral weaving techniques.

Unlike thick knotted rugs, kilims are woven without pile, resulting in a lighter and thinner structure adapted to warmer climates and everyday use.

Depending on the piece, kilims can feature minimalist contemporary compositions or traditional Berber symbols and geometric motifs inspired by Moroccan tribal heritage.

Because kilims are thin rugs, adding a rug pad underneath can make them more comfortable and stable.

Each rug is handmade and reflects the unique variations of artisanal craftsmanship.

Kilims are woven by hand using wool yarns and in some cases a cotton warp or foundation depending on the region and weaving style.

Their flatwoven structure makes them lighter thinner and easier to move than traditional knotted rugs while remaining durable and versatile for everyday interiors.

Vacuum regularly using a gentle setting and without a rotating brush.

For small stains, gently blot with a clean cloth and mild soap.
